An Instant That Saw Heroism

An Instant That Saw Heroism*
by C. Charles Bley

crossing over
men under a

downhill moment a

big rock,
flew stopped
fell
unconscious.

where It came to
words and lives,

the fight would
always come.

not stone,
rather a man,
gun his body.
